There has NEVER been a reported instance of ANYONE tampering with, or poisoning halloween candy.
(except once, when a father murdered his son, and poisoned his son's candy as a means to cover up the crime)

It is a complete myth.

It wasn't poison, there was a guy (I think on Long Island) that was putting pins and needles (and i think peices of razor blades) in the candy.
