If people can't handle that abortion isn't just a little procedure a woman chooses to go through, that it kills babies, that's their problem. |

Varnish or something from a blower motor maybe? |
|

That was my first thought as well. but........I have never seen/heard of that before. |

Yeah what gives? Bone disorders, not abortions? |

At least they are guaranteed their place. |

That is like going back in time. What is with the vault doors and heavy security?
Gentlemen: Can we keep this thread out of the ditch where people hijack it to suit their own moral or political purposes? CWO |

They did abortions there also. |
||
|
As are the docs who performed the "procedures." How's the view from down there doc? |
||
|
How do you know, and what were you searching for? Not saying you are wrong, just wondering how you know that. Also, why were you searching the building? |

reports of homeless inside Doctors I know have told me abortions were done there and I know one girl that had one done there. |

Actually, my guess would be that it is a clinic affiliated with Doctors of Osteopahy (DO), which are another form of licensed medical practioner. So this clinic could actually have had any number of practices being carried out in it. We have a DO in town who is a neurologist and several family practioners. SBG |

On the bright side, at least it's shut down now.
I'm sure they just built a bigger one across town with their blood money, but that's another story for another thread, I guess. |

Uh, what's with the freakin' stove!?!?! Nevermind, I don't wanna know.

See all the empty shelves? It was the first book to be removed, old buddy. |

The "vault" doors are possibly morgue cold storage, or perhaps pharmacy storage.

The Koran is no where to be seen. Catcher in the Rye seems to be missing too. (Apparently the original poster removed a picture that alluded to abortion) Tens of thousands of breathing, living, innocent, human-fucking-beings die every day in Africa. I invite each and every one of the loud religious activists to head that way and do something to stop it, rather than crying about the morals of abortion on a gun board. ......and thanks to the original post for the cool pictures. While they performed abortions there, the sign implies that it was a full-fledged hospital and clinic. Only instead of MD's they had DO's. A lot of hospitals, especially teaching ones, perform abortions. It doesn't sound like this was a dedicated abortion clinic like a Planned Parenthood Clinic. Never quite understood why they call it "Planned Parenthood". They're either giving out contraception or killing babies. Neither of which leads one to become a parent.

I'll pack up and move to Africa as soon as the problems in my back yard are dealt with. In the meantime, there are people here in the United States who are poor, who are heartless, who are dying, and worst of all, who don't know Jesus Christ. Why don't you join us, and help us tell people about Him, then we can both focus on helping those people in Africa? Isaiah 1:17-18. And quit kicking people in the nuts. It's not nice. edited to add smily face:----> |

where can you find more information on this hospital? I missed the whole story behind it and I cant find anything on the web about it. Seems scurry though

My wife inspects buildings for hazardous items that must be removed before demolition (anything from asebstos& lead paint to old batteris and chemicals to whatever).
Old buildings can be really cool. I go with her whenever I can. Usually I don't mind the goo dripping from the ceiling (I suspect it was roofing tar used to cover that vent after a fan or A/C unit had been removed) as much as the bum piles scatterd on the floor. It can be disturbing to know how bad man can disolve too. You will find a pile of cat food/dog food/soup cans where they eat and "bum piles" where they crap. It reminds you of a chicken coop...a place to eat, a place to sleep and a place to crap. Once you get past that, some of the old machines and things can be fascinating. At almost every location i find something I would like to take home, however it usually belongs to the gov't who has foreclosed on the property and removing it would be a big no-no. Dan |

Lets stay on topic guys.. Start a new thread if you want to explain your political, moral or religious opinions.
This is about an empty building, which, I assume had no control over what was done inside it by the people who aren't there anymore. I love old buildings too. Sherrick... any idea how long that one's been vacant? The basement vaults are kind of cool and I love the gate there too. Would be an awesome place to hold a halloween haunted house.... I was wondering if I'd ever be able to use the dracula icon!! Guess I found the perfect thread! |

Actually my girlfriend is a managing nurse at a Planned Parenthood clinic. They do not perform abortions there.. Nor at the other two PP locations she has worked at. They dispense contraceptives and offer gynecological services to anyone regardless of their ability to pay. Perhaps your local Planned Parenthood is nothing but an abortion mill, but I would seriously doubt it. Incidentally, the myopia of your sources is telling. |

Not to insult or stir the pot or anything, but just how many of those "tens of thousands of breathing, living, innocent, human-fucking-beings" are sucked out of their mothers wombs in a "medical procedure"? |
