Man, posting this in GD for the non-shooting idiots was a serious fucking mistake on my part. Pardon my intrusion, please let the blather continue.

What kind of SHTF 5.556 ammo are you hoarding man!?!?!?

At least a case of LC loaded in 20 & 30 round mags is required to post on ARFCOM....you know the rules

I think it means "Two to the chest and one to the head. That's how you make them good and dead."

But I could be wrong.

WOW, you know I've never took the time out of my limited time of shooting to even care what the name on the box was. Let alone the bump's on the brass. You need to shoot more, and not worry about shit that's meaning less.

1) I just bought my first AR on monday and It's only a lower half.
2) my build will eventually be in 6.8 SPC, so I have no need for a 5.56 ammo hoard.

Yeah, because what brand and type of ammo you shoot means absolutely nothing at all...

.222 in a .223? No problem, they're close enough.

Which 5 shallow/deep dots are you referring to?
In this shot of XM193 (courtesy of The Ammo Oracle) the marks are

NATO cross (circle w/ + inside it)
LC - Lake City
00 - Year of manufacture.

Bumps on your ass sounds like a personal problem...have you seen a doctor?

Does your "companion" know about them?

It says: "KangarooAR-15A3 was here."

I have always wondered what the series of the 5 shallow/deep dots on the lake city ammo headstamp mean. I can only surmise that it must be the production line it was assembled on. I know someone knows and can tell me what they mean.

You are correct, the code you see says in English, "Wolf subcontractor"!
