Got my son a 20 gauge 870 for christmas.  I used to shoot competetive skeet 20+ years ago, and haven't shot it since.  I used to shoot 400 targets per week, from age 12 - 16. My average was around .99 back then.  I last shot an official round in college around 1980.

Today, my son and I went and joined a skeet club. He had a blast, so did I.

My first round ,I shot a 23 out of 25, and next was 24 out of 25. This with my ancient 870 12 Ga pump.

It was so wierd, I never expected that I would break 20 out of 25.  It was like riding a bike, I guess.

I felt good, and  picked up the .410,  yikes!  That was humbling!

Here's my bud with his gun.

I like his shirt.

Gives me flashbacks to the 70s.
