Remember, guys, this is "King Richard" Daley. The same guy who wants to dictate law for the rest of Illinois (the 51st ward) by mayoral edict. He's been anti-gun all along, and has used his political machine shills democratically elected representatives in Springfield to push almost every piece of gun control legislation we've had to fight in ILLinois the last ten years.

This guy is an ass. He's content to let his citizens continue to get wacked by bad guys, because he's got a CPD security detail 24/7. A classic lib, he's happy to tell you what to do - just don't tell him the law applies to him.

He's the guy that razed an FAA listed airport @ 0200 one morning, because he wanted the land for a city (pet) project - without notifying the FAA. No runways made it kind of tough for the planes left on the tarmac to get out... once again, somebody else's problem. King Richard has spoken!
