Roger Hedgecock (guest host) has the author of this book: Shadow War on for an interview.

You WILL NOT BELIEVE the stuff this guy says we are doing ALL OVER THE PLANET to destroy Al Qaeda.

I'm going to go buy a copy tonight!

We're fighting them on the high seas, and there have been intense firefights with U.S. SpecOps forces in Northern Africa, where they were trying to set up shop again.

Hell Italian intel found a terrorist LIVING in a container aboard a ship bound for the U.S.!

DAMN I want to read this!

Thanks for the link Zaphod... Just ordered it... And yes, Miniter is very interesting

Link Posted: 10/7/2004 8:54:49 AM EST
My pleasure....

Miniter just pointed out that we have been stopping one plot PER DAY for the longest time.

Gee..... I wonder why CNN and the rest of them don't mention any of this?
Link Posted: 10/7/2004 8:56:47 AM EST
You know why. It might actually give credit to the President. They can't have that.

I think this one was different than the one you're thinking of. This guy had a portable toilet, a kitchen, the works.

There's shit going down all over the place and honestly I'd rather not hear about it on the nwes. It'll make some great books/movies in a few years though. The more public this shit is the easier it is for the enemy to adapt and overcome our defenses. JMHO YMMV, but the consequences could be deadly.

Just remember, THERE WAS NO AL-QAEDA IN IRAQ!

They are in Indonesia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Spain, Greensboro NC, South Florida, Germany, Russia, Kuwait, Sudan, and Somalia, BUT NOT IRAQ!

GOD, I wish I was Special Forces!

So, if Bush stays quiet he's accused of not pursuing al Qaeda, and if he talks about it he'd be accused of spilling the beans and endangering national security.

As long as he's going after them, that's what counts.

Git some, W!!!!!

Some are willing to clutch at any straw, no matter how flimsy, as long as it's under the rubric of the vast-pro Kerry media conspiracy to hide Bush's anti-terror efforts and the tons of WMDs found in Iraq

And who are the real sheeple? The people who don't think they are being misled, or those who are misled by alternate sources but think they are getting the true story?
Link Posted: 10/7/2004 10:23:30 AM EST
Oh...... So CNN is always right now?

Okay, I'll ask...you're being facetious, right?

maybe you should have watched the piece cnn did on AWB about a year ago, they claimed that post ban weapons were friendly and not near as accurate or powerful. That was the last time watched.

Well, some of what he says is true, because I've seen it in person.
But I haven't seen it reported in the news.

So I'd have to say that the "sheeple" are the ones who bleat and bleat and accept what they see on TV as the whole story.

On the other hand, those who are desperate to believe conspiracy stories, are indeed the easiest to manipulate.

He was on H-and-C (last night?) and was very good.

He mentioned that he has information from credible intel operators that(from my sketchy memory):

Osama Bin Laden WAS seen in Iran in October of 2003

I hope he is wrong.

All I am saying is that both the mainstream media and alternative news sources need to be viewed with a good deal of skepticism. Neither one is the real story. And one should not rush to embrace the alternative sources because they espouse the view you want to believe.

Considering that the mainstream has been factually wrong before AND blatantly partisan, I'll go with the alternative.

Besides, it's not like he's claiming that Hussein had ICBM's or anything....

This is another reason I was disappointed with the first debate. Bush knows this information, but doesn't nother to use it? While Kerry tells his fictional story about two soldiers begging him in an airport meeting to be President, Bush sits on his thumbs? I want to see some fire from our President.

However, my bet is he will try to "act Presidential" again Friday. he needs to get his head in the game.
