It would not surprise me IF John Kerry knew all about these worldwide efforts to combat terrorism, but he's counting on President Bush NOT responding to his accusations that the Bush Administration is doing nothing in the War on Terror, concentrating on Iraq only!

He's a member of the Senate Select Committee on Terrorism, even IF he doesn't attend the meetings, his staff may, or he may have access to this information, anyway.

There is an historical precedent for this sort of thing.

The last JFK.

When Kennedy was running for the Presidency against Vice-President Richard Nixon, his advisor from the Eisenhower Administration for national security was a CIA agent who was a close friend and former classmate of his.

Kennedy was blasting the Eisenhower Administration for NOT doing anything about the Castro Regime, and Kennedy likely had heard from his friend about that Administration's nascent plans for the Bay of Pigs Invasion by Cuban expatriots and others.

Kennedy could exploit this apparent 'do nothing' attitude while Vice-President Nixon could do nothing to deny this assertion without jeopardizing that mission.

One tidbit I recall--he said our guys have killed/captured over 3000 terrorists--IN 102 COUNTRIES!! His point was the Bush Administration truly is waging a global war on terror.

There's shit going down all over the place and honestly I'd rather not hear about it on the nwes. It'll make some great books/movies in a few years though. The more public this shit is the easier it is for the enemy to adapt and overcome our defenses. JMHO YMMV, but the consequences could be deadly.

They are in Indonesia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Spain, Greensboro NC, South Florida, Germany, Russia, Kuwait, Sudan, and Somalia, BUT NOT IRAQ!

So, if Bush stays quiet he's accused of not pursuing al Qaeda, and if he talks about it he'd be accused of spilling the beans and endangering national security.

maybe you should have watched the piece cnn did on AWB about a year ago, they claimed that post ban weapons were friendly and not near as accurate or powerful. That was the last time watched.

Well, some of what he says is true, because I've seen it in person.
But I haven't seen it reported in the news.

So I'd have to say that the "sheeple" are the ones who bleat and bleat and accept what they see on TV as the whole story.

On the other hand, those who are desperate to believe conspiracy stories, are indeed the easiest to manipulate.

He mentioned that he has information from credible intel operators that(from my sketchy memory):

Osama Bin Laden WAS seen in Iran in October of 2003

Considering that the mainstream has been factually wrong before AND blatantly partisan, I'll go with the alternative.

This is another reason I was disappointed with the first debate. Bush knows this information, but doesn't nother to use it? While Kerry tells his fictional story about two soldiers begging him in an airport meeting to be President, Bush sits on his thumbs? I want to see some fire from our President.

However, my bet is he will try to "act Presidential" again Friday. he needs to get his head in the game.
