Anyone know? Haven't heard anything about this, but I don't see why not.

Posted this question in the handgun & HK forums, and not a word. Thought maybe more eyes in this forum might help.

Thanks

I don't believe HK USA imports any P7s anymore, though they are still made according the HK's international website.  But that is just from checking their sites, may change now.  Why don't you go straight to the horses mouth:

To contact Heckler & Koch
in the United States, call:

Phone: 703.450.1900
Fax: 703.450.0721

Heckler & Koch has never siezed making or importing P7M8's...There are three new in box M8's for sale near me.

P7M13's were always available new...to this day. But during the ban, they would sell it to you without the 13-round mags. Only the hardcore HK collectors were willing to pay about $2000 for a 9MM with NO magazines.

I'd imagine, at least for the time being the P7/M13's prices should drop considerably from the 2k number you quoted. I've seen them for less than that though. That's assuming they're made available in the U.S.

Yes, the are very expensive but they are still available to LE suppliers currently.

I think the New Jersey State Police one of the few LE agencies to use the P7M13, I think a few years ago, they wanted HK to rebuild the ones they had, but HK wanted so much money that they traded them in for new guns? I think they got USPs?

Also FYI the PSG1 is still available through the same suppliers.

Where do civilians get'em? NIB P7/M13's. This is news to me.

I saw one for sale awhile back but it was used, I ended up going with a P7M8 still trying to decide if I like it.

From any dealer who gets LE guns. How many did you want?

I'd like 17.

Seriously, I'd like one...but have no idea what the going rate is.

I thought this was the last year that HK is bringing the P7's to the U.S. market (except for large contracts)?  Is that not the case SteyrAUG?

It's possible. They are beyond the means of most officers anyway.

It has never been a good seller here, period.  I'm not surprised they're pulling the plug on it.

I'd like a p7 but I wouldn't be willing to spend more than about $750 for it.  even at that it would be an overpriced 9mm pistol, although the design is an ingenious one.

Steyr, which HK pistol is it that holds 18 rounds, polymer frame, DA only? Can't remember the designation...for some reason, that pistol has always seemed interesting to me. Don't know much about it, though.

Sorry for the hijack...
