Did you take the G27 apart? If it's in decent shape, get it, clean it and sell it for $350.

1.) GLOCK Model 27 - Found at a Pawn Shop, USED gun, rated GOOD to VERY-GOOD condition (Upon my inspection), 2 magazines. COST = $235.00 Sketchy Return Policy, NOT IN WRITING.

A 27 for 235, that is a deal and a half. That is the second mention of Pawn shops and cheap Glocks, I guess I should start popping in. If you want a 1911, there are quite a few for sale in EE. I just saw a Colt stainless 1991A1 for 450 asking price, you might just want to spend the extra 50 bucks and get what you want.

It most definitely had been fired a few thousands times... But that's no big deal... I'm sure even if it lost any accuracy, a replacement barrel probably isn't too expensive.

I spoke with a factory Glock rep, and he says that the Glock function best with ONLY one drop of oil on the slide rails if that much. He said that Glock are capable of running on zero lubrication, not a big deal according to him. My local range had a rental Glock 17 that shot 500,000 rounds and broke the slide. When the range went out of business it had 750,000 thru it. I think you will go broke before wearing out a Glock.

I am a 1911 man myself, but my advice is: RUN, don't walk, back to that pawn shop and BUY THAT GLOCK BEFORE ONE OF US DOES!!!! That is a great deal.
