So, what do you buy a cop who has everything? My little brother (well, younger - not so little anymore) has everything he needs. Single, 26yo, small 1BR apt (however, may move in the spring when he gets his working dog) However, the season is coming and he always digs my gifts. This year, I am at a loss. Here is a quick inventory, so to limit and dupe suggestions: He already has a bolt gun (.308), an AR, an AK, a shitload of knives, tactical lights & gear, an HK USPc 40, his duty Sig and a Mossberg. Not a clue. I am asking for assistance, so to leave me some time before 24Dec to do my shopping for him. TIA; 934

He's got the Hi-Tecs, but the TAP sounds like a good idea - he doesn't shoot his bolt gun all that ooften anymore, tho :-(

Sorry, neither he nor I have a DD license. He has also blown plenty of stuff up when he was an 11 Bravo and with the bomb squad in the State Police. Keep them ideas coming! -Ray

Well you can start with an egg carton, place 12 Horse turds in it with a note "Just the same old shit" and then perhaps a good pair of binoculars or a good range finder or a GPS.

Not to get too sentimental here, but I don't look at ammo as a gift, as the real purpose is above. The added benefit is spending time with my "little bro". My order will be going in on 19Nov. About half of what I have ordered from ammoman has gone through my brother's duty weapon, his backup and his Bushmaster. We hit the range about 3-4 times/month with some competitions thrown in. I am fortunate enough where I am in a position to help fund his range time and ammo budget (plus whatever he gets from the dept) and it shows - the kid is damn good. An idea just came to my head - How about a SIGArms Academy Class? Any feedback about some of the "Armed Pro" classes up there?

That would be pretty funny. The family has a very twisted sense of humor and that would go over very well. Too bad he has range finding binocs and a GPS. He spent too much time in the field. -934

He does a better job at it than I. I meant single as in not married. He is dating a fine young lady who puts up with his weird hours, his odd behaviour and his family. -934

Gift certificate from the tattoo parlor and a carton of smokes. That's what I give my kids every year.

Not so sure how that would work as a holiday present. I think that is something he needs to pick up on his own. I spoke to him yesterday and I got some good ideas. Looks like a bunch of ASP Red Guns will be in his stocking this year. -934

What about a GPS. Garmin has some pretty sweet ones with maps and all that crap. I also would never turn down ammo.
