I need to get my hands on at least 300 rnds of INEXPENSIVE 7.62x51 with NON STEEL bullets delivered to Kali before 6/2.
I'm attending a shoot on 6/2 and the range does not allow steel bullets. Apparently there have already been two fires caused by ricochets this season.
I've got about a thousand rounds of Malaysian .308, but its FMJ and won't pass the "magnet" test the RO will administer.
I made the rounds to all of my local haunts, but the cheapest I could find is 13 bucks for 20 rnds. I'm a "spray 'n pray" kind of shooter, and at 13.50 a box, I'm lookin' at 135 bucks for ten mags worth. There's got to be a better deal out there somewhere.
Any suggestions on who might ship to SoCal within four days?

Cabela's has 165 grain SPBT for $0.42 per round. I am not sure about how much shipping will be, or whether they can get to you in time.

FMJ should pass the magnet test as long as its not steel core.Range safe!

Look for surplus Radway Green 7.62x51. You should be able to find a case of 1000 for about $150. Try the ammoman. He probably has it in stock.

I too would first suggest you try Ammoman www.ammoman.com My concern would be the shiping time. Give Eric an email and call to see what he thinks 856-778-7702
You can also try http://www.miwallcorp.com/ they list Winchester USA 308 Win 147gr FMJ, 200 rds $75.00. They are in Grass Valley CA so if they ship from that address you should have no problem with the shipping time. I'd call them to make sure 530-273-1107

Thanks for the info! I tried ammoman.com but didn't see Radway advertised. I'm going to call J&G Sales first thing Tues. morning and see if they've got any.
Have a great Memorial Day.

One of our members here, Big Bear, gave me a lead that has Radway for around $140.00/1000 rnds.
