Run.

Hide.

Never mention this topic again.

You can go to the optics forums and read to find out why.

Or  you can go to toysrus

This Tacpoint by Hakko.

This KAC COPY mount $40

On this Armalite M15A4(T) Carbine  (Sorry I don't have an updated pic with the new mount. and YHM flip up front a rear sights.  I will try to take one tonight)

FUNCTIONED FLAWLESSLY THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!

Tight groups. No washout, even in bright sunlight. 25 yard tested, 50 yard tested. I banged the dammed thing several times on purpose with my hand and on a table, I USED THE RED DOT AS THE CARRY HANDEL. It kept zero and is fucking great!

All together price of sight and mount = $170    (Which aint exactly cheap.)
If I bought KAC and AIMpoint = $600

Is it my SHTF gun.....NO
Is it my fun gun and does this mount and red dot combo appear to work VERY well?  YES
Will I be using this rifle for the 3 gun compition at Virginia Black Rifle Day next weekend and give you a larger review along with the review of many other ARFCOM members who will be shooting this rifle....YES
Should you kiss my ass if you say "dude? you have airsoft stuff on an Armalite?"  YES

This has been done already in the optics board. The whole thing was a complete mess, and caused alot of BS. It was however n interesting read. I'm not sure if the posts were just locked or if they were deleted. PLease go there and use the search function.

It doesn't cost a bloody goddamned fortune, so it's doubtless not worth a shit.

Toss your rifle 15 feet over your shoulder onto hardpack dirt, then get back to me.

I've witnessed an Aimpoint survive this.

Send me one of your rifles and I will put the mount and sight on it and throw it into the dirt.

Just like it to much to possibly break it to prove a point.

Like I said.  Not my SHTF gun.

No doubt, Leapers is kicking itself in the ass for not getting this to market first.
