I use active topics, and when I see one that pops up that says : new member saying hello" I try and be polite and give a

Evrey once in awhile I do because it give me a better understanding of my wife.

But after my "joke" post I have a feeling I might not be welcome anymore......

I check in here regularly. I do so as I am eager to see more women active on the site. In RL my wife and I introduce women to the shooting sports often, and work to give them a positive introduction. Just yesterday we were shooting at our farm with my 6 y/o niece and the neighbor brought her holiday company over--including a 9 y/o girl. She took a turn on my niece's Cricket rifle and was soon hitting water balloons with it--her first time ever shooting. In a week or two a female friend of mine from work is going shooting with us at our weekly pistol club outing. Visiting the women's forum is just an extension of that. You ladies are the single greatest factor in our future regarding RKBA--God bless you!

Women and children are the future of both the shooting sports and any hope of folks being able to defend themselves!

Ever since I started shooting, joined the PD as a Reserve PO, etc. I've been trying to interest my Wife in shooting or at least becoming familiar and "safe" with guns.

So I look to this forum to learn from you ladies and perhaps be able to offer some info/help to any woman that asks about firearms.

But I think it's great that we have female shooters. I'll be trying to get my fiancee (soon to be wife on July 18th) into shooting with me some.

She's already said she wants to try all my weapons to see which ones will be hers.

I like to know what women want and what they are all about. I can read about it in menshealth and other magazines (cant stand the womens magazines) but this is one of a few places where i can see what goes on inside a woman's mind.
