Any thoughts on this particular cigar from Gurkah?
I've only smoked a handful of Gurkah's. Most looked like
they were wrapped with tree bark but not bad in the flavor dept.
I was suggested to try it with a new brand of whiskey from a
Semi local B&M..

I like several Gurkha cigars. I personally did not care for it. Everyone's palate is different. One thing that I have found with Gurkha recently is their lack of being consistant. So I could have easily got a "bad" one.

This seems to be the major complaint around here.

I had a double maduro last month that was awesome, had a centurion this afternoon that tasted great, but tell apart half way through.... Shame

If you're looking at less expensive smokes, try these:

If you have the space, age them for a year. I'd strongly recommend buying a bundle of each of the sizes, you'll be glad you did.

These are excellent with no aging and are by far my favorite inexpensive smoke.

Padilla Cazadores are a good inexpensive cigar, too. I like the 60 gauge Toro, myself...

I did however buy a Padilla sampler pack a couple weeks ago.. I will just give those
