$200 for "assault weapons"..... Kali Arcommers need to go put a sign up and off $250 or 300 for them before they go inside

Quotes that make you go :
So I just want to encourage people if you get an opportunity to sell back you guns please do it as quickly as possible."

The buyback is part of a push by San Jose police to reduce gang violence, which is often linked to gun violence. I bet the gang bangers were the ones lined up at 0700.....

"One person can do a lot of damage and one person can do a lot of good," said Joe Marshall with the Omega Boys Club. "The biggest risk factor in violence is a firearm." I think the biggest risk is the projectile coming from said firearm...

I dumped an old "Forhand Arms" revolver at LAs buy back last year, paid 40 bucks OTD for it at a gun show, got 100 dollar Ralphs gift card that I spent on booze.

The ban of private party sales makes such opportunities limited in California

You can still private party FTF C&R long guns, didn't see anything worth getting hassled by LAs finest last year though.

Damned if I know, there is nothing in the law that seems like it would prohibit it and you can send in a form to the DOJ to register anything (otherwise legal) no questions asked, but I am sure it isn't that easy.

There's a Krag front and center. If that's an original carbine and not a bubba-hack deer rifle its worth some fat ducats. Even a sporter Krag is probably bucks.

Look at the FN GP35 Competition (aka Browning Hi-Power) 9mm Target pistol right in the middle of the picture on the left.

A quick research on Google makes me think that might just be a Krag carbine.... the one I saw listed for sale was priced at $2250.

Sorry, so was I, I don't see anything in the new registration requirement that prohibits FTF sales and you can just send in the registration to the DOJ, but, as I said, I am sure it is not that easy.
