Waterford Cops Hunt Gander Mt. Gun Thief

Waterford police are searching for a man who pried his way into Gander Mountain and walked out with a bag full of guns.

From Waterford police...

Sunday August 11th at 1am Waterford Police responded to a breaking & entering alarm at Gander Mountain located on E. Mall drive.

A Westside door was discovered ajar, it appears to have been pried open. Officers were met by a store manager, they entered the business and discovered 4-5 long guns missing from the display racks.

A B/M was observed walking, then running from the area S/E across the Summit Mall parking lot. The suspect was not located but four long guns in a black duffle bag were located nearby.

The suspect was described as a B/M, 18-20, 5-9, 150 lbs, he was wearing a black shirt and baggy black pants. Store video security cameras did pickup the suspect inside of the store taking the rifles.

Anyone with any information on the suspect should contact Detective White at 248-618-6125.

I was thinking about making some sort of joke like this.

Black man steals black rifle, sell to white man. White man is forced to turn over/set his black rifles free....I couldnt quite get a joke though

I'm glad I wasn't the one who had to point out the black on black (...or was it bowel movement on black?) crime, as being investigated by Detective White.

I'm in this store a couple times a week. Don't know how they keep the doors open anymore. I usually just kill time when taking the wife to Kohl's. The prices are outrageous.

Pontiac is a shithole, but Waterford is quickly becoming "Pontiac West".

It's been referred to as Watertucky for a long time. With Section 8 housing across the street from a practically vacant mall in serious decline, it's not a great place to be.

Walk heavy at Summit Place Mall, and keep your antenna up. Don't let your wimmenz go it alone, no matter how they protest.

Sadly, pretty much any metro area in Michigan has become this way. Anywhere south of Saginaw has become a combat zone IMHO.
