I sent another letter and intending on sending many more of these to whoever to over turn the NY weapons ban and join the rest of our brothers in the free states. We are victoms of discrimination at its best. We need all the help we can get. Join in and drag us from the grimm hole we are in and help us join in the fun! Thanks

Letter I wrote:  I cant even begin to figure out why the gun laws in NY state are written as they are, but its not fair to us NY residents. I have several friends around the country in various states. We often meet to target shoot or hunt and just have fun . I am very happy with the sunset of the federal assult weapons ban nation wide yet the folks here and severl other gun hating states are hurting.  I served in the Marine Corps from May of 80 till Aug of 83 and honorably discharged. I have abided by all the laws and followed all the guide lines I had and have to but now its becomming harder to due to make guns for the gun hating states . This is due to the majority of the gun manurfactures and not even making them anymore.
Example, if the majority of us drove Chevys why would Ford make more autos than Chevy! We need to over turn this NY assult weapons ban and let it sunset as the federal ban has and join the rest of our brothers in the free states. They say slavery was bad well this is a fine example of discrimination at its finest! Ok there are alot of crazy people in the world but law abiding folks need consideration and only a criminal has to go over the border to PA or MD and buy what ever he or she wants. I feel we are only creating more criminals than ever before. We need a strong stand any a fight for our second amendment rights as weel as civil rights.
I would hate to have to move out of NY just to enjoy my favorite pass time . Thanks for your ear and good luck!

Check this out:
In the House, H.R. 2038 has been introduced by Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.). Instead of a "reauthorization" of the Clinton ban, McCarthy wants to ban millions of more guns and begin a backdoor national registration scheme.
