And of course the ceramic Glocks.

"That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. Know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your X-Ray machines here and it costs more than you make in a month!"
- Bruce Willis to Dennis Franz, Die Hard II, 1990
In case you don't know why this is funny, here are some Glock facts:
- The model numbers are based upon the number of patents Gaston Glock received. His first gun ended up receiving his 17th patent, therefore, it's the Glock 17. His 7th patent was for plastic window blinds.
- Glocks are made with polymer (plastic) frames and steel slides, barrels, and other parts. No porcelain or ceramic parts.
- Glocks are made in Austria, not Germany.
- Glocks, with their high percentage of steel components, show up easily on X-Ray machines.
- Glocks cost roughly $500-550. Surely a police captain makes a bit more than that per month.
