My father just gave me his classical guitar and I would like to learn to play, at least the basics for now. I  know a classical guitar is not the best choice for playing basic strumming type songs and pop stuff though it will have to do for now.

Do any of you know any good online sights with beginner lessons, or have any recommendations for good books? I did a search and there is a ton of stuff out there so I am looking for what actually works and is worth looking at. Thanks.
