I'm not buying it's 18th Century.

Which church? Exactly. "A deconsecrated church in the Basque region of Spain," is vague BS while giving the impression that they know exactly where.

Yet, they don't name the church.

Who was the Grandee? In Spain, this wasn't that long ago, they should know. Church records abound from that era and are not rare.  

I'm calling modern repro.

Pay what you can afford to flush.

300 year old, 10 foot long ornate furniture with an interesting backstory? Well into 5 figures. I've got an Ethan Allen dining room set that stickered at north of $10k. That's only a few years old, mass-produced, and the only interesting story is the screaming deal we got on it at a store closing.

Used to know a dealer who had two cards. One was a plain white card that said Joe Blow, used furniture with a phone# . The other was embosed gold with fancy trim that said Joe Blow, Purveyor of fine period antiques with a phone# , Email and a fancy web site
