I pulled my groin playing Hockey about a month ago. Its still hurts like a mother. Probably doesnt help that I play once a week with a all day tournament once a month. But damn, how long should it take to get better?

well, from personal experience, one to three weeks of inactivity (walking is probably ok if it doesn't hurt, but avoid stairs). depends how severe. Once my muscle swelled up so bad it looked like I had a grapefruit in my thigh (not good...I got some disgusted looks from a few gals. my g/f at the time said it looked like I was attempting to stuff it...poorly). Took a week for the swelling to go down, then another week or so till it was back to 'normal'.

I pulled a groin while playing softball a few years back. It took 3 months before I didn't feel any discomfort. Sorry man, been there and done that.

Flag Football for me.... Pulled it in Practice, before the 1st GAME! I will never play any sport without stretching properly again, thats for damn sure!

Missed most of the season, since I tried to get back after 2weeks, and hurt it even more. Just take it easy.

Shouldn't have been pulling it in the first place.

Sorry, but I think you're gonna have to lay off the PIE for a while.

When I was younger I used to pull my groin about 150-250 times before I got out of bed.

Hockey rules! Never been hurt playing it, but I manage to hurt a few, lol.

Sucks, cause the groin in a MAJOR muscle in playing. I can only imagine the pain of a quick burst of speed.

How long and often are you pulling on it?

Do you have a girlfriend?

Do you live in the south?

Do you have a hot sister?
