Any of  the "Looney Tunes" characters by a long margin

the "Thundercats"
Rockey and Bullwinkle
Homer Simpson
Bart Simpson
The "South Park" kids
Fred and Wilma Flintstone with Barney and Betty Rubble
the "Jetsons"

The List can go on and on as it is a matter of opinion and according to when you grew up.  Kids now will answer differently then the older generation.

Your a tool if you utter anything but the master of all cartoons, BUG BUNNY!
Man, I'd laugh my ass off when I was a kid. I'm soooo disappointed it's not on TV anymore.
I wish my kids could watch it.

I love the Looney Tunes classics but my favorite of all time is Cartman.

The Mouse is probably the most succcessful.

But I have to put a plug in for my favorite:

Of those listed in the poll, Bugs Bunny, for his contempt for regulatory authority.

Missing from the poll is Mighty Mouse.  Every week, the plot was the same:  little good guys (mice) who just wanted to mind their own business (freedom) get attacked by bad big guys (cats) who wanted to enslave the mice (tyranny).  After being pushed around past the breaking point, the little libertarians fight (physical violence, not voting or peace marches) and defeat the big tyrants.

It was an American morality play –– teaching children that fighting can be a good thing.  You don't go out of your way to look for a fight, but if somebody infringes on your rights, then organizing those who are individually weak, so that they can bop the stronger enemy on the head with a frying pan is a good and noble thing to do.  Courage, not cowardice.  Fighting is good, in the right circumstances (resistance to tyranny).

Note, it was never Mighty Mouse who defeated the cats alone.  He was the primary fighter, yes, but his more important role was to be the leader, to inspire others to fight.  He was the "George Washington" of the mice.

How about an Honorable Mention for Tobar the 8th Man?

Dude had to smoke an "energy cigarette"  (conveniently stored in his belt buckle) when he got tired.

Jessica Rabbit!

But I voted for Bugs out of the choices listed. He is the anti Elmer Fudd.

WTF? No Zapp Brannigan?

Or Bender?

Bugs. No contest.  Bugs FOUGHT [a lot] in cartoons and wasn't PC in the least. Amazing how much got chopped out of the originals because of the PC police.
