James Hetfield isnt as much as an asshat though, I met him once up in Joseph, Oregon, at the Embers Brew house (small resturaunt/microbrewery).  Cool guy.

You can pretty much put every "punk" bad with any recognition today on that list.


Edit: Except for Guttermouth. Always been a fan and even more so after listening to their singer Mark's political commentary. He told someone who was waving a Kerry sign around to "get the fuck out of here"  
and comment on protecting our gun rights. plus he's cool as hell and has no problem hanging out with his fans. He and the guitarist ended up coming up to the top and hanging out with myself and a few friends after their opened for Pennywise at the 9:30 club in DC and stayed up there through most of the set. Wasn't one time thing either, We've hung out with him pretty much every time we've seen them. Their music definatly requires a certain taste though!

Another one of the few artists with such views is Micheal Graves, the vocalist for the Misfits for American Psycho and Famous Monsters, who has his own band Gotham Road now.
