Thanks for the head's up!
Kobalt seems to have pretty decent stuff. For those of us who don't work with our tools every day of the week or don't use them to make money, they are perfect. They are "good enough" and come with a lifetime replacement guarantee.
Lowes sells the 227-piece toolset that is a whole bunch of sockets, drivers, hex keys, a few wrenches, and several other miscellaneous tools (admittedly there's a decent bit of fluff tools in there as well. "What is this? A wrench for ants?") The box itself is pretty nice. Normal price is $200. It usually goes on sale around Father's Day, Christmas, Black Friday for $100. Apparently they accept 20% off coupons from Harbor Freight to bring the total price down to $80. For all those tools that's a damn good deal. I bought my set about a year and a half ago and it has been invaluable. I am planning on buying a set for each one of my kids to give them when they get older.
