When I had mine last year the sound didn't bother me, but the gas it released about choked me to death and I could barely get the windows down so I could breathe.

Had it been bad the airbags that supposedly would have saved me, would have suffocated me.

Get your hearing checked out and dont discount it.
No ideas what the details of the accident are but document any health issues well.
My wife had an accident where the bag deployed in her face.
She suffered permanent hearing damage.
It's slight...and more of an annoyance than a major disability, but the fact remains that she had perfect hearing prior to the collision and it never recovered. (its been about 10 years)

Its one of those things that ER docs discount and suggest that the ringing will subside in a few days.
Maybe it will.....maybe not.
Document it.

Glad you are OK enough to be posting (which suggests you walked away)

You know what's sad? I rolled a car end over end 2 times finally landing on my side pointing the direction I came... and my airbags didn't deploy

No wonder you had a wreck - how can you see with that giant pillow in the passenger window?

Glad you're ok and not injured.

Take care and God bless.

He has or had a Toyota 4Runner and a Porsche.  His wife has an Explorer.

We're getting some real sloppy weather today in the Mid-Atlantic.

For anybody who's never experienced an air-bag deployment, it's a pretty good whomp in the face.
