First he says he 90 something years old born in 1910.  But even his own son says he was born in 1923.
Then he claims to have a Ph.D. in child psychology from Columbia University, which the university can't comfirm.
And now from wikipedia...
Lewis has claimed that he was member of the Sacco and Vanzetti Defense Committee in 1927, and that he worked in the 1930s to free the Scottsboro Boys. However, both of these would be impossible if he had been born in 1923.  In a 1997 interview, Lewis also claimed that he was an organizer in the Food, Agricultural and Tobacco Workers Union in North Carolina in the 1930s.

Yeah right, Grandpa Munster was on Sacco and Vanzetti's defense team, and organized unions when he was 13.
See ya in  hell you old liberal bastard.

Man, that's a lot of hostility.  And to condemn him to hell?  No, we're not extreme.

The man died, let him rest in peace.

Al Lewis was an entertainer.  Part of his schtick was BS'ing.  Gullable people fall for it.....or so I've heard.

He drove some really kewl cars tho in those shows. He just seems to have one of those personalities that you'd get a wink and a smile after everything he said. Walter Mathau was supposed to be one of the biggest B.S.ers around too during his day. Never knew when he was lying or telling the truth so they say.

Yes because as we ALL KNOW old folks NEVER get creative.

I remember once when I put a truck in a ditch my Grandfather told my girlfriend the engine not only flew out of the truck but landed across the street.

Never mind the fact that he wasn't there and never saw the truck, nor would such a thing even be possible. I don't know what it is about that generation but they seemed to enjoy yanking peoples chains.

Haven't I posted my adventures as a Forward Air Controller with Colonel Roosevelt in Cuba back in '98?
