I live way out in the woods, no other homes around. This guy wandered up about a week ago and now has a new home, vet says he's about 7 months old and he has a wonderful personality. Now he needs a name and I'm asking you all for suggestions.

Since your in LA, a good Cajun name would be fitting. Boudreaux or Beauregard. How about just plain ole Coonass?

You're from LA, which carries a French cultural influence in some parts, & actor Jean Reno comes to mind, for some strange reason. So, how about "Reno"?

I would have to say "Rusty". I have the same type of lab here at the house. His name is Sam.

BTW. Does he like to chase tennis balls? Bet you he does and next time try a laser pointer at night.

I knew a young lab named "powder" that lived at the range and liked to chase clay pigeons. Talk about your bad habits. I gave my cat a people name and changed the answering machine to sound like she's my roommate. Most people just laugh but I got my fishing buddy with it - he thought I was shacking up.

Enjoy your Lab. No matter how little money and how few possessions you own, having a Lab makes you rich.
