You'd be well suited with either the Aimpoint or EOTech, both are very fast on target and very durable. IMO, the question comes down to which you like - the ring around the dot, or just the dot.

You'll definitely want a flat top. Also when you're comparing prices, keep the price of an Aimpoint mount in mind.

does that have a muzzle brake or naked barrel?  Personally I'm going to wait a few months to purchase an AR.

Congrats on the new Bushy! HOO-RAY FOR BUSHY'S!!!

Big +1 on you'll want to have a flat top.  After 4 A2's of various configurations (M4gery, 20", 16"x2) I'm officially done buying A2 uppers.  Flat-top/carry handle from now on for this kid.

NOW GO SHOOT!!!  (But it's like 0-dark:30!!!  Sooooooo???  That's what God invented tracers for )

Congrats!

Your next mod should be loaded 30 rnd mags....lots of'em
I got my first Bushmaster part (M4 upper) a few months ago and I absolutely love it.
No problems at all - just as good as my Colt was if not better!

Have fun

hydro, itf it were mine,i would leave it exactly as it is.light simple and effective.if you want something with optics, first save up and get yourself a new(to you) upper, flattop.then start modifying it.i have an EOtech on mine and love it,but i want a simple a2 style upper with nothing on it.like i said light simple and effective.maybe we should trade uppers.
