Huckleberry

Tragen RIP

So a few months ago I had to put down my GSD. I bawled like a baby. I miss the big Guy everyday. My lovely wife and my wonderful daughter bamboozled me into getting a new puppy. And as much as I thought it was too soon, I love the little Guy. His name is Huckleberry.

Sorry about your loss.

There is never a replacement for a loved one, but that doesn't mean Huckleberry won't find a spot in your heart.

Cute puppy OP.

When it comes to dogs, they have a knack for finding the person THEY need. Beautiful boys.

Your new pup is not a replacement. Emotionally he is a new family member who will love you and be loved.

OP, sorry your last dog left a hole in your heart. It sounds like your new pup will help heal that somewhat. Funny how that works. Beautiful animals posted here.

King Shepherd? That's what Huck is. His daddy is 32" at the withers and 130 lbs. That photo I posted is him at 11weeks old and 27lbs he is currently 12 weeks old and 33lbs. He's a beast.

My last dog died at 14. Putting him down was one of the hardest decisions that we've ever had to make. We bought a new puppy 2 days later. I too was worried that it was to soon, but I quickly discovered that you can grieve and love all at the same time.
