Seems that google has lists. BIG LISTS.

They can, and do on occasion, save your searches and profile what interests you have. They have the ability to profile you for certain customers.

The United States government is one of their cutomers. What do they want to sell to a profiled customer?

I saw this last night on some show where they were talking about the lack of privacy in America.

You might want to look into using a proxy for your umm..err.. questionable searches.
