Because my "taxes" have gone up. I know Supreme leader zero would never lie so that must mean I make over $250K!!!!!

Have you signed up for open enrollment yet? Well, Health premiums went way up and now your Flexible Spending Account is only $2,500 for medical (still 5K for dependant care but wait until next year....bet he reduces that too!).

Bastard. I rely on that $5K flex spending to pay for co-pays, Rx's, and BRACES....I have kids.....BRACES are farking expensive. Thanks to you douche-nozzle-in-chief I can put aside $2500.........

Taxes won't go up my ass.

I want to shoot my fucking tv every time someone suggests those making $250k/year need to pay more. If you're making $250k/year you're doing alright for yourself, but far from extremely wealthy. In some places you're just a regular guy at $250k. And this is coming from someone who makes quite a bit less than $250k. Motherfucker, this shit pisses me off.

Most people I know in the "top 10%" and "top 5%" are paycheck-to-paycheck. It's not nearly the amount most people think.

Most people I know in the "top 10%" and "top 5%" are paycheck-to-paycheck. It's not nearly the amount most people think.

It's plenty. Most people are quite happy to let the outgoing rise as fast, or faster than the incoming.

1. Elections have consequences.
2. This was was all part of Obamacare, which was passed in 2010 when the Democrats had 60 Senate seats, plus the House and Presidency. Pelosi said we had to pass it to find out what was in it. There is also a 3.8 percent tax on rental income, starting January 1.
3. In Maryland the millionaires tax didn't raise enough taxes (the millionaires all moved to Florida) so they made married couples who earn over $125,000 into millionaires, who now pay the higher tax rate.

Yep, I am also rich, therefore deserving of extra taxes. At 40K per year I am rich, and have been ripping off the poor working man by not paying taxes on that extra $1000 I have been contributing to my Flex Spending Account.

I also have three kids, and this month found out about the tax increase (reduction of maximum allowed on a Flex Spending Account for health care from $5000 to $2500). I had been contributing $3500 a year, which covered most of the out of pocket stuff, plus my sons braces payments. This month I find out that I now have to pay for a grand of out of pocket stuff after tax, and I also found out my daughter needs braces, with this news she is going to have to wait until big brother is done with them.

Last year the cost to insure my family went up 40%, our co-pays for doc visits went from $10 to $25, and our rx co-pay went to $20. This year, HR is STOKED because our premiums are "only" going to rise 26%.

I'd appreciate a Christmas card from the FSA families that my extra premiums are paying for. If this keeps happening people in my company will start opting out of the company plan, because they won't be able to afford coverage. When that happens, my premiums will skyrocket

Of course this is all by design-pretty soon I won't be able to afford private health insurance.

Oh yeah, my doc of fifteen years and two of her partners are getting out of medicine entirely in the next couple of years. Medicare paying pennies on the dollar is killing their practice now, and it is about to get exponentially worse
