Check put what glock put on their facebook page a few hours ago. Whatever it is will probably be released at the NRA show. Fingers crossed.

Teaser ads almost always end in disappointment.

Maybe my eyes are too buggy but where is the clue that there is a single stack? I don't see shit.

ETA:

I was just thinking that was advertising for the gen 4. Could be wrong.

Let's hope so. I can pick up a G42 cheap when the secondary market is flooded with them.

A lot of Glock fans are wishfully thinking that Glock will follow Smith and Wesson, Springfield Armory, Ruger, Beretta, and Walther in making a single stack 9mm.

I have no idea what OP is referring to on Glock's facebook page...

It's going to be a G19/23 MOS. I'd be willing to bet

Get both.

It's already here, and it's slimmer, smaller and sweeter than ever imagined. I think they code named it the LC9.

I got tired of waiting on Glock.
I bought a Shield.

That is a G26 length spring (if that means anything).

Honestly do not give a fuck.

I'm a glock guy...been carrying a 23 for years in hot weather, cold weather, and all in between...I might have bought one 5 years ago...now...nope.

The ship has sailed for me.

It will still have a Glock grip.

Lol, except it doesn't work when the mag is out, oh and if you get it wet it rusts.

My store sells a ton of them, I have no idea why other than they are cheap.

To be honest I don't care what they do now. I'm not all that enamored with my G26 anymore and I've been looking at a Shield as it's replacement.

They waited too long for me.

They're finally releasing their carbine.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 8:45:15 AM EDT
Gen 4 30S

If they do release the mythical pink unicorn glock fans boys will flock to pay $500 plus when they could buy a shield with proven reliability and better ergonomics for $339
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 9:02:14 AM EDT
will buy, its nice to have options.

I do not understand this undying love for a single stack 9mm.
I had a Shield, which was nice, but I like a G-19 for capacity and concealment.
I mean, to each his own, but if an actual gunfight occurred, I want a lot of rounds available!

That might be worth a look although I hate that 10 round mag.

As far as single stacks go, a Shield with an Apex kit is what I would carry. I feel like a Glock single stack 9mm would top out at six rounds capacity.

$499 sounds about right.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 9:11:53 AM EDT
I just bought a 27 & decided I'm too fat for it to matter.
Link Posted: 3/7/2015 9:13:31 AM EDT
I'd buy it if they ever put it out.

I don't think they are ever going to put it out.

That spring looks like a gen 4 spring, maybe for a 19?

The average number of rounds fired by police officers in a gun fight is 4. Well,it's 3 and a fraction but it's hard to shoot that fraction of a bullet. In the olden days of revolvers it was 2 and a fraction.
Very, very, very few incidents are the gun battle in Heat. Want to carry more rounds? Fine, better to have and not need but I don't feel poorly armed with only 5-8 just walking around. It's more comfortable walking around with a smaller gun that shoots an effective cartridge. For me,a single stack 9mm hits the sweet spot of easy to conceal, large enough to shoot well, sufficient capacity and firing a respectable cartridge. I guess plenty of others feel the same way.

A G19 is hard to conceal for skinny people in with certain clothing.

I bought one a few months ago and have run 2k of various ammo through with no issue. Surprisingly good trigger. Not an edc but it fits a niche I need filled.

A little birdy told me Glock has rented out one of the ranges in Nashville to anounce a new and highly requested pistol at the NRA show. They think it is this.

It could easily be an edc for someone just not me. The sights work well for quick short range quick acquisition. Hardest part was mag changes and making sure to really depress the mag release to make sure mags dropped free. Just the way it sits in my hand i just wasn't quite hitting it as well as with my other guns.
