So, my three year old asks me to make him a pistol out of mega blocks. The result is both ergonomically and aesthetically eerily similar to everyone's favorite plastic pistol

looks more like the pistol from Halo

If you're going to do it, do it right!

No, the one you built has a better grip angle!

(says a guy who likes both glocks and 1911s...I just had to a jab in there too )

This stuff is MegaBlocks and not Lego. The pieces are a lot less varied and simpler. Also, I had to work with what was left after building him these:

These were destroyed from what they were originally and the instructions are long gone so I had to make 'em all from scratch. The kid is good with them as long as he's supervised. Otherwise he dismantles them and attempts to put them together his own way

Funny ... I switched to my 2nd gen G19 because a 1911 was as ergonomic as a 2x4

The full sized Glocks have never worked for me. Everyone says you get acclimated to it, but no thanks. The sub compact models do point really well for me, however. My 1911, Hi-Power, CZ, and Rugers all feel like an extension of my arm. I also hate the springy feel of Glock triggers, though there are a few fixes for that.
