I own a few (about 8 lol) glocks already, 19s 17s and 43... (Don't be mad at me I also own a few 1911s in .45)
I tried to by them all in 9mm because it's the most common and cheaper round to shoot.. But for a while now I've been willing to buy a glock 20 in 10mm auto.. It's not the risk of Grizzly encounters here.... But there's just something about that round that attracts me... So . Good or bad idea ? Who owns one ? The only other viable option is the new delta elite, but I do not like them much. |

Do you even S&W 1006 bro?
Actually the G20 is a solid FO recommendation from me. |

That would the largest caliber you could legally carry here. Let's leave it at that ;) I do not like the 40 short and weak ;) View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I am not a Glock guy overall.
I have grown to love my Glock 20. |
|
Only if it's a gen 4. I have an SF and it is just big.
I would be more inclined to run a 45 super or something in a smaller grip. But it's a 10mm, and that attracts people. |
|
10mm is a good idea, but I sold my G20 after getting a G29 SF.

I have a G20 and just bought a Sig P220-10.
I say do-eeet! Then feed it some Underwood or Doubletap 180s & 200s at 700 ft-lbs...and you'll know why 10mm is all that. |
|
Best idea ever!! I love my Glock 20, and I'm not a Glock fan boy at all. But 10mm rocks!! Not great for a suppressor host, but for a hunting gun or duty gun, hells yeah

No way in hell is it a bad idea. Its the best deep woods hand gun there is in my opinion. It always goes bang, accurate, reliable, not maintenance dependent and gives the ability to put some fairly powerful penetrators down range in a hurry if you need to. Get one.
I was really surprised how full power rounds from Underwood, Sig, and Buffalo Bore really did not recoil as bad as I expected. Its really a soft shooting gun. I love it. Its the only Glock I own. |

G20 is on my short list. Do it and let me know how it shoots. I picked up a G40 MOS about a year ago, topped it off with a Trijicon RM09, and I was impressed. At 35 yards you can literally create a jagged 2" hole.

I have got a Glock 20 Gen 4. It is a great pistol. I have no fear that it will kill whatever I hit with it.
But factory ammunition, real 10mm ammunition that is loaded to 10mm levels and not .40S&W, is expensive here. Reloading keeps the cost down. It is a beast of a pistol to fire. It is not punishing, but it is not something you take to the range to put 100 rounds through it for fun and leisure. ETA: Do not bother with an SF or Gen 3, get a Gen 4. It will fit your hand better naked or with backstraps. |

You just unleashed a 10 MIKE MIKE THREAD!!!

They're talking about this OP. It's the Model 40 MOS (not 40 S&W) chambered in 10mm. It's badass! https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/108967/IMG_6882-283912.JPG View Quote Well, I think it looks ugly being that long. I'd rather go 20 or 29 |

I hate Glocks but love my 20. Wish it was a gen 4 though. I despise the finger grooves too. It replaced my .357 as my woods gun.

I have both a G40 and a G20. I like shooting longer range steel with the G40 and I carry the G20. They both shoot max loads fine with no bulging brass.

Got a 20sf. Shot it a lot when I got it, now I just stock up on ammo when it's priced right. It's surprising tame to shoot such a powerful round.

Get it. I thought about getting one for years. Glad I finally bought one.

I don't own a G20 yet but its been calling me for a couple of years now.
Recently I thought I talked myself out of getting one. Then threads like this pop up and remind me I must own one. |

I couldn't decide between a Gen4 G20 or a Gen4 G29, so I got both. Very pleased.

I own a dozen or so handguns and only 1 Glock. It's a 20. I say go for it.

Not true. There are plenty of full power loads available if you know what to look for. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

10mm off the rack is not the same as 10mm Buffalo Bore or Underwood. That is a fact. Can you list your FULL POWER loads so I will know who they are? Beside Buffalo and Underwood? @goosemaster Do you have a load that equals 180gr 1300fps? Very interested in what you know of beside those two listed. |
