I have a couple of gold pieces, ranging from coins to odd little pendants with Panda's on them (.999 oz) that I would like to unload, or of course trade for a gun or two.... Where would be a place to start, save for Rapebay......

to be honest ebay is your best bet. You won't get shit from local jewelers, maybe 1/2 of what it is really worth. Maybe search online for a site like this but caters to coin collectors and can use the EE there.

Yup, I'll trade at spot.

Now is not the time to sell your gold, but trading for guns isn't a bad idea.

What were you looking for BTW?

I have about 40 ounces or so in the safe from the familys gold mine. I sell it a little at a time at the local gold and silver shop. Jewlry stores (around here at least) are always interested in Placer gold.

Buy more, watch out for maples, they sell at a premium when you buy em, then dealers will only pay melt for them because they blemish so easy. What do you think, gold at $600 by year end? What about silver?

Dopn't sell. Gold is going to $1000.00 per ounce. Mark my words...

I think $600 is in the bag this year for Gold; but Silver has better odds near term, and could easily touch $15 this year if Barclays gets approval for their silver ETF.
There are only +/-100 Million ounces available at the Comex, a drop in the demand bucket if they make it easy to buy and sell (through the ETF) for the average investor. Remember, Silver hit $50 an ounce when there was 8 billion ounces in the Comex...

Can you tell where I have been investing?
