I confess that I read quite a few postings on the web. Mostly places like Houston Chronicle , Yahoo, Dallas News, etc.

It doesn't take long before you have libs advocating violence against conservatives. Given the power and enough backing, there are plenty of people who would go after conservatives, GOPers, and Libertarians and violently supress them.

And they would do this if they had iron-fisted control of the government. Even people in the most industrialized and civilized countries in Europe and the Americas have shown this to be true.

Any thoughts on this?

For a more informed read, pick up some of David Horowitz's books like Left Illusions. He describes how violence, terror, and mass murder aren't offshoots of poorly run socialist/communist regimes but are inextricably REQUIRED for those ideologies to exist.

Bill Ayers and his Weather Underground have exactly that in store for you if their revolution had succeeded. Instead, he is friends with President Obama now.

Yep. They're not going to come knock on your door tomorrow and try and take your guns.

The demonization and vilification of gun owners will continue for as long as necessary until they can trivialize and criminalize gun ownership. They've had plenty of practice on how to isolate/demonize a group with smokers the last few decades (I'm not a smoker, but it's been fascinating to watch).

Then, when owning or shooting guns is considered illegal, perverse and taboo, they'll send govt agents around to make sure Americans are "safe".

Then you get sent to the camps if you don't spout the party line.

All of the high crime ZIP codes in the USA are liberal democrat strongholds. ALL of the mass shootings in recent memory have been committed by liberal democrats or their children.

National Socialism ranks only second to Communism with regard to body count... Of course the liberals would go on a killing spree if given the opportunity - it's coded into their political DNA.

I see what they're doing as a means to further their agenda; the abolishing of the 2nd Amendment altogether. Think about all the rhetoric, their actions (Dem. Pol. pulling a gun), etc... They're trying to instigate something even if it means using the very thing (a gun) they're trying to get outlawed/eradicated; which akin to how the 9/11 hijackers "blended in" by drinking, going to go-go bars, etc...

I worked for a major media corporation for over 20 years. I was exposed to some very far left people over the years. You would be shocked at how extreme they can get. They want voting records made public so they can place people who voted for Bush in "Reeducation Camps" their words not mine. Comments like that came up often as did other scary comments. These were not low position hippies. They were professional people through out the organization.
