You've got to be in a certain mindset to appreciate that type of movie. I was really bored one night & that was the only thing on. IOW, if there's something else interesting to watch, I'd delay viewing Gilbert Grape. |

Yes; and between Juliette Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio, I had a tough time deciding which one was supposed to be the retarded one in the movie.

God, I watched it, then read a synopsis of the plot, and I still don't know what it's about.. My friend is thinking of buying the DVD just for the director's commentary. |
