Attach it to your computer and drag and drop the files I guess.

No go. The files are only on the iPod, not in iTunes.
Long story made short: My brother's computer pooped the bed. He doesn't want to go through the process of re-loading all his music from the disks. Is there a way to download all the ACC versions from the iPod? Drag and drop doesn't work because you cannot view the music files without running iTunes. |

I just went through that.
This will get the music from the ipod to a new install of itunes but you will have to manually rebuild any playlists: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtRFsX6FBVo |

FYI Winamp has a pretty good iPod reading ability for anyone who hates iTunes (me). You can add a lot of stuff to it but my only gripe is you can't add album covers through it. Oh well.

There is a program you can buy at Best Buy that lets you take music off your iPod.

iDump, I cant vouch for it personally and there may be newer alternatives but that worked for a friend in the past.
