Special Weapons is selling this in kit form with an FMP receiver and all the parts except for the firing pin. The kit w/ receiver is selling for $500. Jim Gravitt @ Pro-Tech Engineering is charging $325 for a build w/ firing pin. Approx $825 for a complete FMP clone. |

My SW3 hasn't malfunctioned or jammed once.. NOT ONCE.. in over 1000 rounds and it won't shoot any better than 1 MOA. I must have got one of the bad ones. [;)]

Jim Gravitt @ Pro-Tech Engineering is charging $325 for a build w/ firing pin. Jim's a great guy to have do your work, but is very slow. When it comes to firearms, he takes his time to make sure it is done right! FWIW: I live just a few minutes from Jim, and he does all of our custom work. Oh,yea a HK rep.can't tell the difference between a true pre-ban 91 and a post-ban clone.
All you have to see is that it has a muzzle brake wielded on instead of a flash hider. |

How are the SW's barrels attached?
Do you need a press? Can you just assemble parts? I know that it's just a "parts" gun, but what is involved in assembling one? I might start collecting parts! |

Figure its the cheapest way to go, but had no clue how to put one together(Kinda like when I bought my AR kit) Now I have a source.
