The way you have it spelled, (MARDER) is a noun ,meaning a mans name, in english it would translate to Martin. -- MARAUDER (noun) would be plunderer in deutsch. -- hope this helps!!--ALLONS11

Marder means "Marten", like the small weasel-like creature.
Their abc-sniffer tank is called the tracking fox (Spürfuchs). A small vehicle the size of a pickup truck is the weasel (Wiesel), carries a crew of 4 and either a mortar or a 20mm cannon. Tschüß, Hannah |
