For those than want some history on George Floyd
   Latest conviction was a 2007 home invasion with a firearm, resulting in a 5 year prison sentence. Homeowner was a pregnant woman. On the last day of Floyd's life, police responded to a call from a business owner regarding a customer attempting to use counterfeit money. Floyd was later found with methamphetamine and fentanyl in his system. Not someone I would let around my children. I will play devils advocate here, Miranda, Brady, and Terry were all criminals yet we benefit from their court cases.

If it’s the same Mr. Floyd, perhaps he was known to the local LEO as a shitbag and it influenced their decision to even take him into custody in the first place.
