For those than want some history on George Floyd

Latest conviction was a 2007 home invasion with a firearm, resulting in a 5 year prison sentence. Homeowner was a pregnant woman. On the last day of Floyd's life, police responded to a call from a business owner regarding a customer attempting to use counterfeit money. Floyd was later found with methamphetamine and fentanyl in his system.

Not someone I would let around my children. Floyd also starred in a pornographic film

Edit: News reports that Chauvin and Floyd previously worked together are circulating -

On a side note, check out this developing story at a gun store in Texas -

Rapper and his crew enter a veteran owned gun store, bring in magazines, pick up an AR, load AR with magazine, and aim at customers. They are drawn on, and chased out.

In an attempt to instigate current events, the rapper in question records and posts only the second-half of the confrontation, video footage of him and his posse being drawn on and told to leave, with the caption "They hate us!!" , as can be seen in the link below. The rapper has disabled the comment feature on this video to prevent fact checkers from correcting the record.

Rodney King was a scumbag too.  Don't you see?  The truth never mattered; it's perception that matters (see my sig line).

I agree Floyd was a POS. He was just turning his life around, learning a new skill in graphic art design (counterfeiting).

This is absolutely true.  The only consideration should be whether the use of force was justified to stop Floyd's actions.  I do not think the cop had any justification to put his weight on the man's neck after he was cuffed.  As in another thread, Chauvin and Floyd worked together.  I think someone should try to find out if Chauvin had a reason to commit premeditated murder.

- scumbag gets in trouble with the law again

- officer with a history of 'excessive force' kills him (either negligently or deliberately)

- officer gets arrested and charged

.... seems to me that the system is working, and justice is currently underway.

So we are now justifying killing people in the street because we don’t think the courts went far enough.

If those are the new rules better buy stock in body bags because it is going to get bloody.

On at least six occasions Chauvin worked off duty security jobs at the same night club where Floyd worked as a bouncer.

Edit: It should be legally mandated nation wide that everyone who is killed by violence in this country have their criminal history published at the same time their identity has been made public record. Would stop a lot of protest horseshit.

He was a criminal.  But he was murdered by a cop.  The punishment for counterfeiting isnt death by knee.  The punishment for murder should be execution however.

I don’t think anyone is saying that at all.  If it’s the same Mr. Floyd, perhaps he was known to the local LEO as a shitbag and it influenced their decision to even take him into custody in the first place.

Killing him was, clearly, wrong and the cop should be heavily sentenced for it.

I’m 50.  Somehow I’ve avoided getting jammed up by LEO my whole life.  I wonder if NOT committing felonies and being in shitty neighborhoods around shitty people doing shitty things has anything at all to do with it.

Dammit.  There I go with my privilege again.

A peaceful man who wouldn't hurt a fly.

As an aside, the two guys jailed on gun related charges in CA over the past couple of days  (the guy who was all kitted out walking around and the guy who pulled an AR out on an angry mob headed towards his property) both had the exact same bail ($50,000) as the convicted felon who used a gun in a home invasion robbery.

justice....

The motive for the killing lies in whatever Floyd said to Chauvin before he was thrown to the ground. We don't know what that was. One or two of the other three officers might. It may involve illegal dealings at the night club they both worked at. Chauvin could be a meth user himself, could have been taking bribes, exactly what it was we don't know but it made Chauvin angry enough to choke him out, and which resulted in his death.

Should we post officers disciplinary and complaint records as well with every line of duty death?

If we are getting into the game of selling shit as “they deserved it” then we need to go all in on that.

But, but, but, he was going back to school and going to church and had turned his life around.  (Isn't that the usual statement when a thug is murdered)

How many thugs have been murdered by other thugs in the past ten days?  Where is the outrage?  Where are the marchers?  Where are the protests?  Where are the riots?

Folks, this is POLITICAL.  Those protesting are useful idiots that are being exploited due to their stupidity.

I can think of nothing that could have been said, or done by a cuffed man on the ground that would justify death by knee.  I dont care if he was white, black or yellow.  It was murder.

Save your strawman arguments for court counselor.  No one is saying that the officer shouldn't be prosecuted.  But there is something perverse with looting and burning every major city in the U.S. because Shithead A met with Shithead B and got killed over it.  The whole retarded clown world media is acting like this is the mythical rape of Lucretia.

Seems Floyd was accustomed to being under the knee of authority.
Add a death dealing illegal Chinese imported drug and there exists a high probability of early death.
As witnessed by the all these recent turn of events during these troubling times.
