Tried to sell a Monadnock PR-24 police baton and they delisted it....said it was " dangerous weapon".

What the heck has this world come to?

Anyone want a PR-24?  heheheheh....that is if you are allowed to own a "dangerous weapon"

EDITED UPDATE BELOW!

OK, I just saw that Ebay sells a buttload of knives and swords.....WTF over?
How is a stick dangerous and a sword is not?

Liberals....growing dumber by the day

Yeah, sell it here...

ARFCOM gets let down when an item isn't a dangerous weapon!

I wasn't aware that there was such a thing as a "safe" weapon...

WTF?  They regulate sticks?

Damn, every new thing I learn about Cali leaves me shaking my head in amazement and wondering how much more bizarre it can get.

You can post all of the child pornography you want there though...as long as it is under the guise of "art".

Ebay stinks.

Yea, even though in all tests performed to date, an illegal baton could not be made to cause as much or more damage than a completely legal baseball bat.

Go figure..

Yea, and I think baseball players should play with ping pong balls and chop sticks, just to show how rediculous the idea of banning a lengthy wooden stick is. Plus, it would be more sporting.

That is almost the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.  What the heck is the matter with this country?  I'll take your word on the child porn issue, I don't even want to go prove that right or wrong.  Liberals are not wrecking this country....they've already  wrecked it- past tense.

You know what?  If they played baseball with ping pong balls and chop sticks I might watch that dull sport!  ha

I still can't believe that I can carry a concealed handgun in Texas, but not an ASP batan. Go figure??

Sounds like it is time for another ebay bashing gag auction.  Find a hardwood stick of approzimately the same size and put it up for auction with an appropriately snide and gutbusting description.  See how many bids you get.  Remember the Australian guy selling .303 British brass?  Just like that.

Maybe also an auction for a "vintage pre-20th century solid non-explosive igneous hand grenade".

I used to live in Commiefornia as well.  The idiots running the state are crazy.  I used to live in San Diego and that city is now unofficially bankrupt due to all of the corruption.  It's all of the crazy hippies that are making that place into a communist state.  They are so far from reality they are living in their own fantasy world and causing the state to go down the toilet.  hacko.gif

PR-24s are illegal in NYS as well (yes, sticks are bad.  So are slingshots, ninja stars and sword canes).

They won't allow the sale of sticks, but you can get one of these cgi.ebay.com/LARGE-HEAVY-ANTIQUE-NAUTICAL-SIGNAL-CANNON_W0QQitemZ7342890503QQcategoryZ66638QQssPageNameZWD1VQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem . I wonder how far it will shoot a 1 1/2" steel ball....

there was a pretty fun thread last year about a guy trying to sell empty .303 brass on Ebay...he had a running battle trhing to convince them it wasn't loaded ammo.  His emails to the 'tards at Ebay were pretty entertaining.

The trick to listing eBay banned stuff is use a model number and maker name on it, and say if it is scratched or new. Man have I sold a bunch of AR15 magazines in the last 3 months on eBay.
