Looks good. Got all the steel rods in place? Any of them a little too long?

You'll want to test fit to your mil-spec dia tube, and you'll see it's a very tight fit.

A couple of the pics were slightly blurry, but it worked out.

I couldn't get a spare buffer tube; I have to use my whole damn lower. All the spares I have on hand here are pistol tubes. I'm "going for broke here", so to speak.

I still find it funny that even posting on here - a place where people ask to see puss videos, the only, ONLY person to ask to see my tooth-hole was my chiropractor.

Shoot, you should've told me, I could've thrown in a Chinese Army Factory #87 buffer tube.

Don't forget the super glue on the vent hole - you don't want epoxy seeping into the back of the recreiver extension.

Already did that. Waiting on it to dry. I think I'm only going to have time to get the upper portion glued tonight.

Don't be in a hurry. Super glue is permanent. Take it apart tonight, and build it again tomorrow. Please don't rush.

It's rather incredible to watch my idle dreams glued to someone's only AR.

Oh - don't mortar it. The stock will take it just fine. It's the buffer tube that will bend. I have a gunshow display only buffer tube now.

It's snug, but it goes in easy enough. (That's what she said )

Everything is glued in place now but I'm not going to do the epoxy tonight. I'll finish up tomorrow evening.

Nice. I only drink coffee when I'm at the office. Otherwise I'd drink no less than 12 cups a day.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. Got work at 0700.

I'll post some pictures of the finished & mounted Lego stock tomorrow. It'll no doubt be a hit at the NRA Range this weekend.

Wow. I'm very flattered. Keep in mind when you pour the epoxy into the well, and shove the buffer tube in, the epoxy is going to try to seep out the sides between each brick. Have a rag handy. Once it dries, you can chip it off w/ your fingernail. I can't thank you enough for your hours of work on this. There's a tear, but I think it's just from the Texas spring pollen.

What epoxy do you plan on using? You'll want to smear some on the underside of the buffer tube, but not past the front of the stock. Mind giving us some before pictures, looking down the buffer tube well @ the reinforcing rods?

I'm just using Permatex General Purpose 5-Minute Epoxy (2 part). I was planning on covering the seams between the bricks with electrical tape to prevent runs. I ended-up with a ~1/32" gap between the upper and lower parts, so I want to let the epoxy fill the gap and dry neatly with the tape around it.

I'm already in bed here, about to go crash, but I'll get a bunch more pictures for you before I do anything tomorrow.

Fairly well! My own apartment, full time job, medical bill that had been lurking over my head is finally paid off, and my gecko is being a temperamental little shit since I moved.

Sweet. Had not thought of using electrical tape. Was the gap from the super glue, or just tolerance stacking?

It was very frustrating when I started this 2 years ago, and started going onto Lego forums, and no one knew a damn thing about gluing these together.
