If done right it would make a cool film, on an amazing event many people today don't know about.

Also, it should be done in Greek/Persian with subtitles

If this is true, it should be done with unknown actors.. no big names, no celebrity bullshit distracting from the movie. I like films so much better when there are no "stars" in them.

Haven't read the book (....yet) but the Frank Miller (The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City) graphic novel "300" kicked ass.

Read the book last year and really enjoyed it.

Have 300 Spartan's playing right now.
