Anyone have an idea of where to buy those cups by the case?  Google fails me, or perhaps I fail at the google.

That's a damn good question.  Sam's club had some that looked similar, but tasted like ass.  I want some of the cups too.

Talk to the pizza place you get them at and ask them?

Just order an extra one every time you order pizza, and store them in the fridge.  They charge you extra for them, but after a while you can get a pretty good stockpile going.

If it's clarified butter, get ghee at any indian grocery, add garlic.

Case of 128, $35 + refrigerated shipping.

I'd call local food service distributers.

I tried mixing my own, almost doubling the seasoning level and adding some cracked peppercorns, good stuff!

Movie theater popcorn butter is composed of vegetable oil and artificial flavoring. I would imagine most "butter replacement sauces" are the same or similar.

I have no answer to your question...

But, your question reminds me of a story.

I arrested a guy a long time ago. (Cant even remember what the charge was.)

I was doing his prints in the computer, and one of the questions to fill in is "Employer"

I asked "What kind of work do you do?"

He replied "Butter Melter".

No explanation needed, I guess,

I was like "Excuse me?"

He said that he worked in a plant that makes those little butter-garlic cups...and that he was responsible for taking the huge blocks of butter out of the boxes, and throwing them into a huge 'melting vat'.

I found it humorous.

Yeah..

I'll get right the fuck on that.  You know... when I make my own motherfucking Pizza.

The takeout joint doesn't have it any more, so I have to find my own.

If I wanted a recipe for it, I guess I would have asked for a recipe, now wouldn't I?

Thanks... $25 shipping to here, and I apparently need to refrigerate all 128 of them little bastards.    I guess I'll have to plan on tooling up and stopping by Pizza Hut on the way home.

This.  My Indians friends make great butter sauce for pouring on naan.  They get annoyed at me when I drown a piece of pizza with it.z

I have them bring the butter cups outside of the pizza box so it remains solid. once it melts it never gets solid again.

You mean you're supposed to eat that shit ? Hell I always throw it out on the lawn to keep the possums from trying to mooch my pizza while I'm drunk sitting round the fire.

I am sure a late night pizza place manager could be convinced to part with some for a "tip". Papa Johns will sell you extra with your order for like .25 cents each.

Oil based doesn't need refrigeration

RangerMonroe is not a man that you boss around.

You don't tell a man like that to make his own pizza, let alone a faux-butter sauce.

He's too busy shooting gators in the head, assembling his own NODs.

I bossed around Ranger once.

Go to your pizza vendor of choice and talk to a manager. Maybe they'll hook you up slightly above cost. Heck what kind do you like. Pizza Hut or dominos?
