I can brag here because the wife won't give a damn.
chainsaw was marked $50, .308 win marked $12 (box had 21 rounds in it). Me: Does the saw run? There is no gas in it. Seller: Don't know, haven't used it in years. Me: Got any more ammo? Seller: Thats it, sold the gun, don't need the ammo Me: Give you $50 for the Ammo and the saw Seller: ok. I got home and put some fresh gas in the saw, started on the third pull.

obviously it started on the third pull, it's a stihl.
my dad has had his for going on 17 years and still runs like new and it's been used quite a bit. nice score

Those are great little saws, good buy too.
Here's a tip for you, run that sucker at 40:1 with Stihl Ultra (synthetic). They're rated for 50:1, but they run leaner than shit and can be hard to start when they're hot if you run them lean. I've had 3 024's, btw. |

An 024 for $50 is a hell of a deal. I have an 026 with a 28" bar that I paid $200 for (used) and I wasn't unhappy with that deal at all. The ammo is gravy.
