Serial entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis had some choice words on Wednesday about those who may support President Donald Trump's response to the violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
"There's no doubt that there is probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don't shop at my business," said Lemonis, who is CEO of Camping World and host of CNBC's "The Profit."
In a chaotic Tuesday news conference, Trump appeared to equate torch-bearing white nationalists with the protesters who demonstrated against them.

http://rvdr-cdn3.appxtreme.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Lemonis-Robbins-event-110x145.jpg              By Greg GerberLast week, Emperor Marcus Eralius Augustus Tiberious Lemonis, the part-time CEO of Camping World and full-time star of his reality TV show, The Profit, urged his customers to boycott Camping World. Not all customers, mind you, just those who believe in free speech and an America-first policy. In an interview with CNBC, the network that airs his show, Lemonis said, “There’s no doubt that there is probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don’t shop at my business.”He delivered the ultimatum after taking offense at something President Donald Trump said in response to the act of terrorism that took place in Virginia Aug. 12 after an angry, bitter, lunatic used his car to ram a crowd of protestors at a rally organized by a conservative. So, what did Trump say that so easily offended the Emperor? I knew I couldn’t trust the mainstream media to provide unbiased and impartial coverage, so I went directly to Trump’s often-cited Twitter feed. Here are his “hateful” comments:
  • Aug. 12 — We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!
  • Aug. 12 — What is vital now is a swift restoration of law and order and the protection of innocent lives.
  • Aug. 12 — We must remember this truth: No matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are ALL AMERICANS FIRST.
  • Aug. 12 — We will continue to follow developments in Charlottesville, and will provide whatever assistance is needed. We are ready, willing and able.
  • Aug. 12 — What is vital now is a swift restoration of law and order and the protection of innocent lives. No citizen should ever fear for their safety and security in our society.
Really? That’s what’s got Lemonis so riled up? Surely there must be more.I’m not sure where Lemonis gets his news. There must be a reason he wants 50 million Americans who support President Trump to boycott Camping World if they agree with the president on the words he spoke. So, I went looking for the actual transcript of his press conference and found it at Vox.com. Here’s what Trump said in its entirety:“Thank you very much. As you know, this was a small press conference, but a very important one. And it was scheduled to talk about the great things that we’re doing with the secretary on the Veterans Administration. And we will talk about that very much so in a little while. “But I thought I should put out a comment as to what’s going on in Charlottesville. So, again, I want to thank everybody for being here, in particular I want to thank our incredible veterans. And thank you, fellas. Let me shake your hand. They’re great people. Great people. “But we’re closely following the terrible events unfolding in Charlottesville, Virginia. We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides. It’s been going on for a long time in our country. Not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama, this has been going on for a long, long time. It has no place in America. “What is vital now is a swift restoration of law and order and the protection of innocent lives. No citizen should ever fear for their safety and security in our society. And no child should ever be afraid to go outside and play or be with their parents and have a good time.“I just got off the phone with the governor of Virginia, Terry McAuliffe, and we agree that the hate and the division must stop, and must stop right now. We have to come together as Americans with love for our nation and true affection– really, I say this so strongly, true affection for each other. “Our country is doing very well in so many ways. We have record — just absolute record employment. We have unemployment the lowest it’s been in almost 17 years. We have companies pouring into our country, Foxconn and car companies and so many others. They’re coming back to our country. We’re renegotiating trade deals to make them great for our country and great for the American worker.“We have so many incredible things happening in our country, so when I watch Charlottesville, to me it’s very, very sad. I want to salute the great work of the state and local police in Virginia. Incredible people. Law enforcement, incredible people. And also the National Guard. “They’ve really been working smart and working hard. They’ve been doing a terrific job. Federal authorities are also providing tremendous support to the governor. He thanked me for that. And we are here to provide whatever other assistance is needed.“We are ready, willing and able. Above all else, we must remember this truth: No matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are all Americans first. We love our country. We love our God.“We love our flag. We’re proud of our country. We’re proud of who we are, so we want to get the situation straightened out in Charlottesville, and we want to study it. And we want to see what we’re doing wrong as a country where things like this can happen. “My administration is restoring the sacred bonds of loyalty between this nation and its citizens, but our citizens must also restore the bonds of trust and loyalty between one another. We must love each other, respect each other and cherish our history and our future together. So important. We have to respect each other. Ideally, we have to love each other.”For those who don’t trust the printed word, here’s an Associated Press video of the press conference on YouTube. So there you have it. Lemonis is upset with the president because he:
  • Loves his country
  • Supports the military
  • Loves his God
  • Loves his flag
  • Is proud of his country
  • Wants to stop hatred and division in the country
  • Expects Americans to love and respect each other
  • Wants kids to be able to play outside (Like go camping, Marcus?)
The bottom line is, Trump put America first. The Emperor – and a wide swath of other people – are hyperventilating because Trump included this statement: “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides.”The president is 100 percent, absolutely correct in that assessment. Peaceful protests and political rallies are a thing of the past. Regardless of affiliation, whenever one group wants to host a rally, march or even discussion, the other side feels duty bound to show up to disrupt the event, hassle opponents and do whatever it takes to shut down free speech. It is especially disconcerting that supposedly smart people are now labeling all of us who want to see a strong, united America as being “white nationalists.” They often use that description in the same breath by referring to people as “white nationalists and white supremacists.”So, what is a white nationalist? I’m pretty sure it is confined only to Caucasians. Yet, according to Dictionary.com, “nationalist” means “a person devoted to nationalism” as well as “a member of a political group advocating or fighting for national independence, a strong national government, etc.”In similar tone, “nationalism” means:
  • Spirit or aspirations common to the whole of a nation.
  • Devotion and loyalty to one’s own country; patriotism.
  • Excessive patriotism; chauvinism.
  • The desire for national advancement or political independence.
  • The policy or doctrine of asserting the interests of one’s own nation viewed as separate from the interests of other nations or the common interests of all nations.
You got me, Marcus. That describes me to a T. I was born and raised in America and feel that, despite its faults, the United States remains the best country in the world with a standard of living second to none and unlimited opportunity for people willing to educate themselves, work hard and pursue their dreams.Being an immigrant yourself, Marcus, you probably didn’t grow up with that viewpoint, which is why you appear very eager to bash those of us who believe in American exceptionalism:
  • A country that has provided trillions of dollars to support every other country on the planet.
  • A country that has sacrificed its own youth to defend freedom and democracy around the globe.
  • A country that has developed technology that has benefited every person in the world.
  • A country that gives away more money its citizens are allowed to keep than the second and third most-generous nations combined.
So, because I love my country and, just like our president, because I believe “no matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are ALL AMERICANS FIRST, Lemonis doesn’t want me to shop at Camping World, and that’s fine. I promise I won’t.I’m sure Lemonis’ stance will make him even more popular with the wealthy, elitist Hollywood crowd that hang on his every word.  He’ll likely get a number of coveted invitations to dinner and cocktail parties. The problem is, very, very few of them own RVs and fewer still will ever shop at a Camping World store. The reaction to Lemonis’ silly statement was quick and severe. His Facebook followers turned on him in droves over the weekend, forcing him to issue this statement:“I’ve had a chance to read the comments posted over the last couple days and thought I would respond once. (Although you can see his response to multiple other comments). “Everyone is entitled to an opinion. No ones knows who I voted for or what my political views are. I expect our president, whomever that may be, to improve economy, rebuild infrastructure, deregulate gov, develop broken communities, protect borders & eliminate hate, to name just a few. “Most importantly I support free speech. With that being said, I don’t have to agree with what the person said. That’s the beauty of this county. I want to feel safe and have others feel safe as well. Debate is what causes change and improvement. That also applies to business. Who you support doesn’t define who you are. Our actions and values do.“Best advice I can give. Be yourself no matter who or what you think or do.”Unless, of course, the person speaking is Donald Trump and the millions of people who support his effort to make America great again. Then, people like Lemonis believe they just need to shut up and mind their own business. These one-world elitists pledge allegiance to a world view that if you aren’t 100 percent lock-step in support of their narrow beliefs on whatever the single issue might be, then you are a “hater” and engaging in “hate speech.” Therefore, you must not be allowed to speak. They condemn your viewpoints as “offensive,” “divisive,” and even “foolish.” They banish you from their social communities and even their businesses.Perhaps that’s why Lemonis appears to be tone deaf to the plethora of negative complaints by his own customers about the quality of service offered by his stores. He considers it hate speech.Marcus, I own the BoycottCampingWorld.com domain. Let me know if you’d like to rent it.

Yeah, I noticed that. We just had a brand new Gander Mountain store built and open here a few months ago. Now I heard it's about to shut down. I didn't know that their CEO was a communist icehole either. Glad to hear they're closing down.

I don't think he is saying "Don't shop here if you support Trump", I think he is suggesting that Trump folk simply typically don't shop at Gander Mtn in the first l place...

Even if you think that, why would you say it?  How could explicitly telling approximately half of the country to not shop at your store be a good idea?

No one sits around wondering what the political opinions are of the CEO of a failing outdoor supplies store.  If he hadn't said anything, no one would be saying "well jeez I wonder what the opinions were of that Gander Mountain CEO!".

I'm past giving a shit about what people think, I just don't understand how a CEO could be dumb enough to say something like that publicly.

I'm sure it sucks enough to be a Gander Mountain executive trying to right the ship of a failing company, but then to have your CEO come out and tell half the country to not buy stuff from your store... FFS.

I went into one of the dimwit's "why pay less" stores in my AO once, laughed, and left, never to return. It's closed now.

That is back when everyone was selling Mosin 91/30 refurbs at around $125.00 or less and those tools were wanting $250.00 for them.

Sigh, that said there were plenty of rubes running around under GM caps after their Grand Opening.

I asked one rube how much GM charged for the cap and he said $7.00.....It was on special.  I laughed and told him they should have paid him to wear that cap around giving them free advertising. The rube was not amused.
