AR15.Com is proud to present GUNSTRUCTION. Partnering with the firearm loving folks at GUNSTRUCTION, we have worked together to create the ultimate AR builder. This video preview will show off some of the features of the platform as well as how intuitive the interface is. Our goal will be to get every manufacturer and their parts into the builder. We also want to ensure that the community knows this project is not just for you, but by you! If this program works as good as the demo video and has parts other than only the flavor of the month parts, then this can be a real boom for those who cannot visualize how their build will look, not to mention a money saver from not buying parts only to find you did not get the look you wanted and having to buy again. And maybe, JUST MAYBE we will see a drop in the number of posts from people requesting photos of x parts on people's builds because they cannot visualize it themselves. Past programs like this have been great looking in the demos only to fall flat when implemented so I really hope that is not the case with this one. Good luck with it and I hope people will try it out.

I'm a 3D artist and I visualize builds all the time using 3D software. It is great to see someone finally make a full fledged program for this kind of thing, and whoever did the 3D work on this did a great job. Hopefully you will be able to enter prices for parts so you can have a cost for the build and weights would be great too. I would love to see an open source version of the program so smaller manufacturers can add their parts as well.

We lived in New York and enjoyed NFA toys (although most of the fun stuff is out of state!) and now we are moving to the grand state of Texas. You can rest well knowing that we will not leave anything out.
