Lets give the tracking codes to the cops too.  I am sure they will use it only when it is stolen.

Actually it might not be a bad idea on your own gun if you could track it yourself. You could go all deathwish/Navy SEALs on the house with your stolen weapon(s) with some arfcom killer armchair kommandos to recover your weapons!

Then send a bill to the police for your fine work!

this would be handy for all those "lost" shipments through the mail or when someone paints their rifle w/ multicam ...it would save them a post on here bitching about they lost their rifle due to their paint job lol
