Yeah, that was pretty dumb. Not everyone is up to speed on the latest and greatest interactions between LEO and BLM.
It might actually shock some here to learn that there are many people who don't know or care what else is going on in the world outside our own pathetic lives and wouldn't understand the reference at all.

Lol, I get his point but talk about bad judgment. With cameras and microphones a police officer is foolish to do anything but give Joe Friday responses. He should have ignored her comment and ticketed her.

I thought about that with the cop who accused me of being a drug dealer  a couple of weeks ago. I know he meant "I find your refusal to answer my fuckwit questions suspicious!" But the way he phrased it if it had been recorded and I filed a comlaint I think he might have had some fast talking to do even though nothing would have come of it.

Considering the high profile bashing cops have taken in recent years it was poor judgement of epic proportions and his whole department will suffer from it.
Frankly, it brings into question his professional judgement in other areas regardless whether it was offbeat sarcasm.
