Well it says it's "Professional Grade Weaponry".

I think you could do better for that much.

Hell no.

For that money it should come with a BCG and a reach around.

I am not sure how you want to use the gun, but for that price, I would pass.  Its a lightweight barrel with a tactical fore grip and that to me is a worthless combo.  No BCG or CH says ripoff.  I don't care if it is BCM.

I wouldn't, but I'm not really Tier1.  $749 is a complete rifle to me...

I don't like the handguard but it seems like a decent deal.

Might consider this: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-16-Mid-Length-LIGHT-WEIGHT-Upper-Receiver-p/bcm-urg-mid-16lw%20ddl12.htm. Would rather have LaRue rail w/ LW barrel.

Hell for an additional $280 I can buy a Colt complete AR at Wal-Mart.

You should fo, that shit's tier 1 fo sho

I wish my upper only cost that much

Between this and a LaRue Stealth upper. Think I am going to pony up the extra few hundred and get one of them

My thoughts exactly. PSA had that sale for a complete, out the door for $699.

Stealth doesn't have the LW barrel but I want a 20".

Yea I figure I already got one LW with my 14.5" middy. May just go 18" Stealth next. $1200 though ouch.

Wait, what? BCM has an upper in stock? What's the world coming to?
Link Posted: 10/8/2012 5:18:05 PM EDT
Not worth it. High quality parts, and too high prices. I've been thrilled with everything I've ever gotten from DSA and Del Ton. While my SR-15 is stil my favorite AR, I'd by Centurion, or LMT, or a slew of other brands, before I spent the money on a BCM when I'm basically paying them double to build something I could build myself.

Not bad for a free-float CHF upper.
Link Posted: 10/8/2012 5:31:23 PM EDT
I'd go with Larue for that kind of money.  Or I'd buy another complete AR and realize that I'm not going to be shooting 1000 yds with it.   I'd be surprised if it had significantly better accuracy or dependability than Del-ton.

YMMV
